Network list from the operator API.
When does my plan start counting?
At first network registration in Egypt — not at purchase. Buy as early as you like and install any time within 180 days; the clock starts when the eSIM first joins a network there.
Will my usual number keep working?
Yes. A travel eSIM adds a data line; your home SIM stays in the phone for calls and messages. Turn data roaming off on the home line to avoid its charges.
Is hotspot sharing included?
The operator does not confirm hotspot sharing for these plans, so we do not promise it. Where an operator confirms it, the plan page says so.
Does my phone need to be unlocked?
Usually yes — a phone locked to one carrier may refuse a second profile. The device checker explains how to see your phone’s lock status in under a minute.
Airport SIM counters want your passport and your patience. An eSIM skips the counter: install before boarding, turn off airplane mode on arrival, and the meter starts only when the network first sees you.
Coverage in Cairo, Alexandria and the resort coasts runs on the four national networks listed above — your eSIM picks the strongest one available at each moment.
