Google Analytics: your choice

We would like to use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how this site is used.

What each part does

Until you choose, none of it is loaded — there is no Google code on this page to block.

This is not about our own visit count. That one runs on our server, sets no cookie of its own, sends nothing anywhere, and stays on whichever button you press — it is described in full on the cookie page. The two answer different questions, and we would rather say so than let a refusal look like it switches off more than it does.

Strictly necessary — always on

Two cookies keep your basket and your form submissions attached to you for the length of a visit. Without them a payment cannot be completed, so there is no version of this shop in which they are optional — which is why there is no switch here for them rather than a switch that does nothing.

Google Analytics

Loaded through Google Tag Manager (container GTM-WPPWRQS4). It sets its own cookies in your browser and sends your IP address, the pages you open and basic information about your device to Google, which processes it for us as a measurement service. It is off unless you turn it on, and turning it off later stops it being loaded at all.

The data goes to our Google Analytics property G-C7ZLDWV9DC.

2 GB per day at full speed, then reduced speed After the full-speed allowance, speed is reduced to 1 Mbps. Roughly, so you can judge the size: Maps, messages and browsing across a short trip, plus music streaming and the occasional short video. A rough guide, not a spec — video quality and app settings change this a lot.

The operator does not confirm hotspot sharing for this plan.
Top-up
The operator allows a top-up on this plan. Fivebars sells top-ups on trip plans only, so for a day pass you buy another day when this one runs out.
Calls & texts
Data only These plans carry data only. They do not give you a phone number, and they cannot place ordinary calls or send SMS. Your own number stays on your normal SIM, and most phones hold both at once.
